Duplessis own a third of a hectare in the middle oif Les Clos which is widely considered the best part of this most famous of Chablis vineayards. With a complex nose of lemom rind, liquid minerals and old oak the palate is rich and balanced, with good structure and a long multi-faceted finish. This whisky gains its distinctive character from being matured in two woods. First a traditional oak whisky cask which having previously held bourbon, softens and adds character and then a first fill Spanish oak sherry cask which brings depth and a fullness of flavour.
